Infrared Sauna
Benefits
Through heat and light, infrared saunas detoxify, relieve pain, and increase oxygen and blood circulation.
-
Detoxification
-
Improved Mood
-
Boosted Metabolism
Recover Faster: The infrared heat stimulates vasodilation of peripheral blood vessels, which brings oxygen to joints. This increases the healing process of sprains and strains, relieving pain, and reducing the overall time it takes to recover from an injury or intense workout.
Accelerate Recovery: Infrared heat increases blood flow and circulation, speeding up muscle recovery, reducing inflammation, and providing pain relief to muscles and joints.
Release Toxins: Infrared sauna therapy helps eliminate toxins that accumulate in your body due to diet, environment, and stress.
Improve Sleep Quality: Infrared light helps improve sleep by activating your parasympathetic nervous system, allowing your body to calm down, relax, and de-tress.
Burn Calories: The heat from the infrared sauna raises your metabolism. The increased heart rate from the heat helps you burn up to 600 calories per session.

What is an Infrared Sauna?
Compared to a regular sauna, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you. An infrared sauna heats your body by penetrating deep into your muscles and joints, creating a sweat that releases toxins from your body. The temperature is usually lower than a regular sauna and takes less time to heat up. They also have less humidity, creating a cleaner environment.
Near Infrared (NIR): Targets surface-level conditions and improves skin health, including wound healing, cell renewal, and tissue growth.
Mid Infrared (MIR): Penetrates the body’s soft tissue to promote circulation, pain relief, and weight loss.
Far Infrared (FIR): Reaches deep into the body to target both muscular and cellular concerns, promoting full body detoxification, improved cardiovascular health, and relaxation.
How It Works
Infrared wavelengths make direct contact with the skin and deeper layers of the body to increase your internal temperature. This increase in body temperature sets off a cascade of physiological effects which encourage various health benefits such as detoxification, improved circulation, cell renewal, and healing. Infrared saunas work differently from regular saunas by heating the body directly rather than the air within the enclosure, which allows for faster heating and more targeted results.
How To Use
Drink Plenty of Water: Make sure you’re hydrated before going in. Try to drink 1L of water before your session, and another 1L during or soon after.
Keep an Eye on the Time: Sessions should last around 20-30 minutes. Keep an eye on the timer to avoid dehydration.
What to Wear: You can wear gym clothes, or swim gear if you are doing hot and cold therapy. Always sit on a towel.

Contrast Therapy – Cold Plunge Baths
Benefits
Improved Circulation, Pain Management, Immunity, Muscle Recovery.
Unlock extraordinary health advantages with our cold baths and contrast therapy. Featuring cold water immersion, mineral baths offer benefits like enhanced focus, reduced inflammation, expedited recovery, and mood elevation.
How It Works
The cold water causes blood vessels to constrict, sending blood closer to your core to maintain warmth. This accelerates circulation, which in turn speeds up muscle
recovery. Heat increases blood flow, relaxes muscles, and reduces stiffness. Research shows a cascade of health benefits:
Reduces Inflammation: Helps reduce inflammation, beneficial for conditions like arthritis and muscle strains.
Increases Blood Flow: The hot-cold contrast increases blood flow to the affected area, reducing pain and speeding up healing.
Reduces Muscle Soreness: Helps flush out lactic acid and other metabolic waste products that contribute to muscle soreness.
Boosts Immune System: Stimulates the immune system, improving overall health and wellness.
Enhances Recovery: Used by athletes to enhance recovery and improve performance by speeding up recovery time and reducing muscle soreness.

How To Use
You will be guided to the baths by one of our team members and introduced to your contrast therapy protocol. Bring your bathing suit and shower before and after your session. No
appointment is needed if you have an active wellness membership.
What to Expect
The cold pool is refreshing and invigorating, while the warm water is comforting. Alternating temperatures ease muscle tension and reduce swelling. A typical session involves 1 minute cold, then 3-4 minutes hot, repeated a few rounds. Stay attuned to your body and consider professional guidance.
Recommended Usage
2-3 times a week, adjusting based on your body's response. If used post-workout, align sessions with your exercise schedule.
